lloyds tsb ppi guesture of goodwill

lloyds tsb rejected our complaint about ppi. so we went to fso we have now been told that lloyds will offer us a goodwill payment. we are still waiting for lloyds to send us an offer this is after nearly 2 months is this normal or should we get back to the fso to speed it up.

    The FOS give the firm a chance to pay up without the FOS fee being levied. Banks tend to cave in with a goodwill gesture on cases where the payout is not particulary high and they feel they may not have a strong case.
