Hi,

The short answer to this is "NONE". Under no circumstances do this, downsize if necessary, or sell and rent from a reliable Landlord, but DO NOT CONTEMPLATE SELL AND RENT BACK. We are still trying to obtain a "Deferred Payment" from a blood sucking low life property developer, better known as a property shark, who owes money to at least 40 plus pensioners like myself.
We considered this to be the right thing at the time, releasing equity in the property and with a further lump sum to follow five years later to supplement our pensions. All we have now is heartache and stress caused by a person I consider to be the scum of the earth. I would like to name and shame him, but he previously made the moderators remove the whole thread. Since I want others to be warned about Sell and Rent Back, I will not name and shame.
Please! Please! Please! do not even consider doing this.0 -
