hi all
I have a number of items that require protection from moths, stains and so forth
Wedding dress with vale and all the bits of pieces and bridesmaids dress/paige boy
christening gowns
dresses from 35 years ago from when I was a child
I have them in clear wrapping on a hanger in my daughters bedroom but I really need to protect these precious items better
Any website or shop that i can get the correct wrapping or boxes.
Any help would be fab
Thanks

Each piece of clothing should be stored flat in its own box. If you get some acid free boxes and acid free paper, line the boxes with some paper. Its inevitable that there will have to be some folding of the clothes but you can roll some paper up to cushion the fold. You can also pad out sleeves a bit.
Then you want to store them preferably in the dark where the temperature won't fluctuate too much.
Acid free paper and acid free storage boxes (I used to be a museum curator!) I'll have a look for a supplier....

This ticks all the right boxes e.g flat storage:

Acid free tissue paper, acid free cardboard boxes, and avoid plastic.
Avoid storing anywhere with fluctuations in temperature and moisture

Chuck in a moth deterrant too (cedar blocks or lavender) and air on a relatively regular basis as moths love dark undisturbed places.0
