Well our weekly payments have increased, but the lump sum we are due because we had a much lower income last year than we had expected (self-employed in retail) had so far failed to materialise.
Of course just because we are supposed to have the payment doesn't mean we will, damn TC people are a law unto themselves, and won't tell us on the phone...............
anyway basically the answer is I don't know, I think we are in the middle of the process, they have acknowledged our new details but no official final award yet.
I hope they hurry up tho, we desperately need the money! There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.0 -
We haven't had the renewal pack yet. Is this normal?Debt Free September 2018 :j0

Thanks for your replies, when did you renew then?
I did the 29th and heard nothing other than a provisional award for the change i made still no final notice yet.
And renewal packs will still be sent though may and june.
So yes dont worry0 -
We replied the day it came through, about 2/3 weeks ago (am not sure, I leave boring paperwork up to my husband lol) but it's definitely been at least 2 weeks (yes I am impatient but it's a lot of money to us!)There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.0

I've not had my renewel. They said they can take up until end of july to arrive when i called the other day
But then they do owe me because i WAY exagerated my income last year by accident lol0 -
Does anyone know how long it takes after giving them new details, which have obviously been accepted due to increase in weekly WTC payments, to them doing their Santa act with the lump sum payments?
Weeks, months, not a snowballs..............?There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.0 -
At this time of year it can be anywhere between 4-8 weeks from when you renew on the phone. Once they have input the details of income etc and if it is a simple case then it will come through fairly quickly. The cases where it takes a while are those usually involving child care. The underpayments will come through when the renewal gets processed. It may take a while, but it may not. Just be patient. My renewal pack last year came through in June so I have to wait till then, so be grateful if yours has arrived now and has been actioned.0
