CEO/Chairman of the Halifax

Options
Morning all, I've been trying to trace who is the CEO and Chairman of Halifax.

The most recent info I could find (and admittedly, I'm not a whizz with computers but I'm learning) is that Andy Horner is the CEO and Lord Stevenson is the Chairman. However, it was unclear how up to date this info is and what their individual addresses would be for correspondence.

I am aware that the Spanish chap, Horta Osorio is the Group CEO for Lloyds Banking Group but I want to direct my complaint specifically within the Halifax at this stage.

Grateful for any assistance. many thanks, David

I very much doubt whether the individual parts of the Lloyds Banking Group have separate officers at board level. A search for 'andy horner halifax' found only one relevant result, this thread!

Anyway, directing a complaint to the CEO is a pointless exercise, use the complaints process and if you are not satisfied with the response take your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Neither of them are currently with the group and it may well be the case that as a single brand within a large group that there is no CEO or Chairman. I dont know their structure but reading their 2012 annual report they mirror most other banks in having a Commercial, Retail, Wealth and Insurance divisions in which case the lowest CEO may sit at the Retail Division level and so cover all the brands within retail banking (this is also how RBS Group was structured)

The link below gives you the names of the current Directors of HBOS Plc, a bit of googling/ wikipedia/ LinkedIn and you may find if any of these are an Managing Director or equiv for the Halifax brand

Hi, thanks for your response. I've done a bit more digging and found that the 2 guys I mentioned have moved on - further to the recent damning report that castigated several directors within Halifax. Not sure who has taken their place(s) but appears to be several waiting in the wings.

I've actually previously complained directly to several companies at CEO level and achieved very successful results. I have exhausted the rubbish service from within Customer Service at Halifax so am now intent on moving onward and upwards.....! I think that possibly the FOS should be involved anyway. Cheers, David

Halifax is just a trading name. The big cheese is:

You do realise that if not happy with the outcome of your complaint it will go to FOS anyway.

Odds on all writing to CEO will do is get it fed back down to where the complaint sits and they will deal with it. Only feeding it back for a high level letter.

Nah, if it comes from the office of the big cheese it will get dealt with quickly and thoroughly.

It might not change the outcome but it will expedite it.
