Going to a Chinese Supermarket, what should I buy?

Next week I will be travelling to an area where there is a large Chinese Supermarket. I love dim sum so that is on the list along with some other speciality foods. I will also buy containers for the freezer, as they work out much cheaper there.
Is there anything that it is a good idea to look out for?

5 litres White Vinegar and Bicarbonate of Soda !0

Chinese curry sauce paste.
Soy sauce (but try to get the more 'natural' stuff without caramel colouring/MSG)
Ground 5/7-spice powder
White vinegar or rice vinegar
Green tea
Soya milk
check out the prices on fresh garlic & ginger & sacks of onions - if it's cost-effective you can make pastes in a blender & freeze0 -
Oh, how I envy you! When I lived in London I used to go crazy when let loose in Wing Yip. Now I am many miles from decent quality ingredients like Pearl River Bridge soy sauces and all the wonderful frozen items Wing Yip sells!
My advice is to take a very large freezer bag with you and don't be afraid to experiment!0 -

Miso paste - delicious and lasts about a month when it's open in the fridge. I have it in soup and on chicken & fish, mmmm. Also, edamamae beans! And mochi if you like them. That's what I'd buy!0

I'd recommend the frozen pork dumplings and the hot dumpling sauce! Fantastic for a quick supper!0
