It's for someone who will no longer be a UK resident in 6 months time
  • That would be a no then from all mainstream providers

Depending where they are going could be possible to do a longer term policy that would cover them for the move

[FONT=&quot]Hello Coolio, regarding your query, I searched for the companies on the internet and I found the u-tax company on the top of my search results. I also looked for this company and found it the better one which will provide you good coverage. Have a try of it. Check its website first.

Why not take out a 5 year policy and cancel it after 6 months?

because when they disclose the fact that they will be leaving the uk in the next 6-months the application will be declined.

There is one provider who will potentially cover non-UK residents, provided they return to the UK from time to time, pay from a UK bank account and don't intend to permanently intend to leave the UK. Whether this is relevant to the OP, who knows?

No it's a perm move. May be best to look at options in the new location. Thanks everyone, just wondered if I had missed anything obvious.
