Hi,
Am in the process of renewing my home insurance and was about to add my partner as a joint policyholder. Would this mean we were financially linked? He has a bad credit history
Thanks

No insurer that I know of reports to credit reference agencies in such a way that would create a link on them even if you pay by installments.
There is a chance that if you go via a broker that uses a 3rd party credit provider that they might report to a CRA but only the policyholder is liable for payments and so it is unlikely that you would be shown as linked0
