Taken out new insurance

I have just taken out a new policy with morethan, and have had an email from them saying to complete your policy application and issue the annual certificate we need you to send us a letter from your company confirming your claims history and length of time you have been driving a company car (or proof of Pass Plus if applicable).

The person i spoke to has taken my current insurance policy number to check for no claims, and i don't even have a company car. I own another vehicle which i stated when i took out the policy. Do you think this is just a standard email sent out to everyone, im not sure

How many years did you tell them you had, and was it in use on your other vehicle?

All I can suggest is to ring them to clear this up, sounds like they have put you down for introductory bonus where they will give you discount depending on how many years claim free driving you had in a company car, second car, ect.

If that's not what you have asked for then you need to contact them as they could well cancel your insurance if you don't provide them with the details they require.

Just to add to above, you can't claim any years no claim bonus you have on any other current car , NCB can only be claimed on one car, unless of course you have 2 seperate NCB built
