DSR report help needed

Okay, so after selling loads of stuff recently, all glowing feedback and average across my stars of 4.9 for everything, I logged in yesterday to see that my P&P stars have fallen to 4.7.

I ran a few reports and saw that in the last 3 weeks, twice I was given 1 star for P&P! I charge exactly the amount quoted at the Post Office, use brand new packaging and combine postage always and refund if someone pays before I've had a chance to do combined postage. I never add anything on for fees etc. and always post next day or same day. So 2 1star ratings was a bit of a shock to say the least. I've not had anyone contact me to say they are unhappy and it states on all of my auctions that if a buyer is unhappy with any aspect of my selling perfomance to contact me straight away and I'll refund/accept a no-quibble return etc.

I've read that you can search for ratings left by item number so I've spent the last 24 hours sticking every sold item number into reports and can't get any of them to display the ratings. It just says that data will only be displayed when there are at least 10 ratings.

Yet running a report by date shows me these 2 low stars so they must be there somewhere!

What am I doing wrong? How can I find the buyer who left me the low stars using the item number report? I don't want to contact them, I just want to block them from bidding on anything else of mine!

You need to run reports in batches of 10, by item numbers.
Keep running the reports until you come across one that contains the low stars.

Then one by one replace each item number in the 'bad' report with an item number from a 'good' batch and run reports until you find which item number the low DSR is attached to.

    Slightly laborious but it works!

Okay, thanks. I have tried various combinations of item numbers - single, month by month etc but there comes a point where ebay won't let you run any more reports for that day. I think I'm already at that point today! I'll start on that tomorrow then.

Royal Mail 1st class and it says on my auctions that's the service I use, but it also says if you want me to use a different service to let me know and I'll do it. I've had other bidders ask for a cheaper or different postal service and I've got quotes for them and changed the service and amended the invoice accordingly.

That's why I am surprised that after having the info in front of them before they bid, and being happy enough with the postage cost and service used to place a winning bid, they still trashed my stars.

If they'd contacted me and said they thought the postage had been excessive (it's purely what it costs to post!) I'd have given a partial refund out of goodwill in order to preserve my stars.

Some don't seem to understand the price rises.

What sort of price is the postage being charged?

I sell secondhand clothes so some smaller bits can go as large letter - £1.60, and most things, jeans etc, go for £3.00.

    Hi
I have had the same problem plus someone has given me 1 or 2 for everything. I think that I know who it is as someone said that something that I sold was not genuine, which it was. I asked them to return it, at my expense, and I would refund + pay for the return but they haven't responded, leaving this instead. It is so unfair :(

I charge the cost of an item plus 20p packing on all that I sell. This often means that I lose out but still some people mark you down.
