Travel Insurance Help Please

Options
I have been trying to get some travel insurance quotes for my niece who is going to Rome for a few days in July.

Most of the quotes I have got only insure a single item of personal belonging upto £250. The thing is she wants to take a camera that cost £480.

Do I need to call the individual insurance company to see if they will insure her for the camera in full (minus the excess)?

Thanks in advance.

Defiantly get on the phone to them to ensure its covered most of them should allow you to declare anything over the £250 value but this is something you should confirm with them.

Have you tried One sure Insurance?

Get her parents to check their home Insurance as it may already be covered, if not it would cost circa £20 a year to cover.

Home Insurers offer massively wider cover than travel Insurers
