DRO & Bank Statements

A friend of mine is looking into applying for a DRO, she is unsure of how many months of bank statements they will require. Has anyone got an idea of how many the OR need?

Many Thanks

  • I had to produce
3 months worth of bank statements
    Payslips within last 3 months
    Up to date credit report
Needs to go via an intermediary which there are a good 10 or so, then fee paid, final review, submission to IS

    Hi,

My wife has just completed her DRO and she only needed:

An up to date Experian credit report
    Any benefit award letters.

Didnt once get asked for any bank statements at all.

She went through Stepchange who were amazing and very helpful.

The OR doesn't require any and, as far as the intermediary is concerned, that will depend on the contract they are on, and their employer's policies. So could be 0, 1, 2, 3...

    Hi guys,

Just noticed this thread and thought I'd add our "party line".

If a client has been on a DMP with us we don't insist on statements of the debts(as we'll have had these in the past). However in most cases we do ask for statements for debts, so we can be accurate with account numbers and addresses.

If you're applying for a DRO with us and are unsure about what we need then you can find a checklist in your advice pack or give us a call and ask.

    Cheers
