Hello

I have had emails to one particular address bouncing back all morning - only from my PC not when I send from my iPhone. As far as I can tell, with my ability to google :) my IP address has been blacklisted.

What I can't seem to get to the bottom of is how to get it "un-listed"? Will it just happen with time or do I need to do something?

Thanks so much, it the computer I need for work! :(

    Bouncing back with what message?
Have you tried rebooting your router?
What sort of email account is it? Hotmail perchance?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

That my MTA has a poor reputation? It has only happened with one (important!) email address so far.

no, I haven't yet - would that change the IP address?

Yes, powering off for about 5 mins will usually reissue the IP adress (unless you have an account with a static IP address).

IS there anyway I could see if I have a static IP address?

With most ISPs it will be an extra item, with an additional charge, so will appear on your invoice.

Unless you use one of the few weird ISPs that give everyone a static IP, you'll generally know if you have one.
