I do here what i used to do in England, take it through the test having done what you can yourself (clean it, test the lights/tyres) If anything mechanical is faulty then take it for repair. That way no garage has concocted a list as long of your arm and charging you extra for it. Ok the retest fee stinks and you do get it free over the water, that I miss.I do love the system here though, as mentioned earlier, its state of the art checking equipment and at the end of the day, it can make the difference between life and death.0
