They often bump the price of the flight up to stop DIY'ers and offering packages cheaper to get you to come beack to them
Plus June is low season out there so rooms are cheap, last year I saw 3 and 4 star AI go for around 700.
Runawaybay I think was the place where they had the deals last year but its still 900 for 2 weeks AI. It's worth watching the price for a few weeks before you book unless oyur set on that one then if your happy with it book itIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -

Scheduled flights to Jamaica are always expensive, and depending on the time of year they can be even more expensive. Charter flights to Jamaica - which I assume is what those are, are generally very cheap - £200 to schedules £500. Last time I checked it was 60 Jamaican dollars to the pound. Be prepared to be hassled once you get outside the hotel compond though, it go so bad a some years back that all the cruise ships stopped going to Jamaica, it may have improved since then. It is a lovely Island, but I'm biased my whole family is from there.0

It is a lovely island, I am not biased am not from there.
We were hassled in Montego Bay but nothing serious.
Stayed at the Wyndham Rose Hall (AI). This is a great resort ideal if you have children but good for adults too.
