requester SARfrom HSBC, they have returned the cheque ?

Hi all sent a £10 cheque to HSBC and requested a SAR report, They returned the cheque and then 2 weeks later we have received a print out of bank charges we have paid but its really confusing as there are + and - next to some of the figures and I cant make head or tale of it, Is this there version of a SAR request ?

No it's not a full SAR otherwsie they would have cashed your cheque.
You can ask them what it's meant to show.

Went you sent the SAR request in, did you specify things you were after? They may have interpreted your request as something else. e.g. if you asked for a list of charges as part of the request.

If you still bank with them, there should be more than that. If you stopped abnking with them, they may have destroyed your records.
