Worth getting more expensive bath sealant?

I am about to use some bath sealant but am wondering if there is much of a difference between the 151 brand you can get from the pound shops and the more expensive versions such as Dow Corning.
Has anyone tried both and what are the downsides of the cheaper ones?
Do they take longer to dry, are not as sticky, break more easily or
all of the above?

you need one that contains anti-fungiside (spelling i know) or it will go mouldy very quicklyI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
I've used various brands of silicone sealant to do bathrooms and kitchens, and have found Dow Corning to be the best. With the cheaper silicones, I was having to renew it once a year. I've got Dow Corning down now and it's still good as new after 3 years.0

And no good for baths either, use a quality brand, as above with a fungicide, and specifically for bathroom/sanitary ware.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
