Avoiding "Admin Fees" on Car Insurance

In my job I move every couple of years and have been sick and tired of paying an admin fee (stealth charge) of 15-25 pounds just for the insurance company to alter my postal address. Imagine if the CC companies or banks started charging for address changes!!
To get around this, every time I start a policy, I tell them to put on the notes that I will be moving during the year and request that change my details at no cost. Even if I do not move it is there in my notes and the charge will be avoided.
It may require speaking to a supervisor but it is worth the effort. The only drama is when they check the new address and lump and extra onto the premium for it being "higher risk".
Easy come - easy go.

Tell me about it.. this year on top of my premium i've had to pay extra for changing car (don't think it cost more just admin charges to send a new policy). Admin charges when i moved house and then admin charges for when i got a private plate.0
