Hi I have a sandisk cruzer edge memory stick and is full of music that I put on it several months ago and works fine in the record player sorry HI fI
But the pc will not read it I put the stick into the pc and I get the noise that the pc makes when you plug something in but that's it nothing else.
Except when I right click on the removable disk section where the stick is and open devices and hardware folder it shows the cruzer stick there and claims to be empty.
All my other sticks work fine
Help please

Try looking at this thread, but to be honest I had one and it completely died on me as well.

Old Faithful we roam the range together,

And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.

Tried it in another device or another USB port?

Just got it to work by unplugging all my usb's and then pluging my stick in.
Last time I buy a Sandisc I will stick to Kingston
    Thanks

Sorry it has now stopped working again.

    Update
    reply from sandisc
We have seen some issues with applications formobile devices such as Samsung KIES, HTC Sync and such that prevent the USBflash drives being recognized correctly. You may need to turn the applicationoff for the USB drive to be recognized by your PC. Should this not resolve theissue you might need to close the background process of the application oruninstall the application for the drive to be recognized.

I dont know how to turn off kies or close the process. so I deleted Kies
I then connected the stick and it worked
I then reinstalled Kies and retested and up to now everything if fine.:)
