I'd like a printer that is reasonable on the ink . We've all got epsons at the moment as I like the individual inks.
But now I want a printer that will print from laptops, desktos, iPhone and ipad and the Aniol tablet I've just bought Gma.
It's need to print copy and scan and be wi fi.
I need one for nephew and one for grandma.
The Epson x202 I bought a few weeks ago that said it was for smart phones and tablets and pc's but I took it back as the reviews on the net were awful! TIA.

If you only want to print black and white pick up an HP Laserjet Pro 400 or pop to argos an order an Epson Sx235W you'll actually probably get an XP205 - it's not a bad printer and you can get compatible inks. HP have always built solid Laser printers and these are best if you need quality text in monochrome, and Epson do good printers with multi inks.My Mind wanders, if found please return.0

Sorry I didn't explain properly. My op was just cut from the end of a laptop for university thread. We sorted out what laptop to buy and needed to move onto printers so had to start a new thread. If you only want to print black and white pick up an HP Laserjet Pro 400 or pop to argos an order an Epson Sx235W you'll actually probably get an XP205 - it's not a bad printer and you can get compatible inks. Nephew will need to print his uni work so needs to to print in colour as well as black and white. Grandma will want colour too.
The nephew is going to uni so need one for him and would prefer a colour printer scanner copier with individual inks or good ink prices. Also space is an issue in his tiny room. Grandma needs one too and space is an issue there too.

With Epson printers, they are stuck in a transition at the moment, you could be lucky and get an SX printer, but most likely will have to settle for their XP printers, the lower numbered ones can be built less well than the higher ones and compatibles inks are relatively expensive at the moment.
Argos have these at £80 but site closed at the moment

The cost of compatibles will likely stay high until enough printers are sold0
