DIY kitchen

Hello everyone,

Next week i am going to start my kitchen remodeling project, its an DIY project. We are going to replace the backsplash, cabinets and countertop. I am planning to install ready to assemble kitchen cabinets, has anyone here installed them before? Do i need to have an expertise to install them?

    Assuming you can put flat pack furniture together well then kitchen units are no different. The main difficulty with them is making sure they are all level and you have the right gap for the plinth all along the bottom. Then you just screw them to the wall. It's probably the easiest part of the whole kitchen process.

    I can't advise you on the worktops I'm afraid as we got someone to do ours as they were stone so well beyond our expertise but doing joints between sections is hard to do well I hear.
