Free Business Banking, any tips?

Yes Nemesia there are times that the Abbey website is slow - normally first thing in the morning at work so maybe it's to do with the number of people accessing it - dunno.
Other times I find it works just fine.
Haven't used the phone aspect as am able to do everything I need online.
It's the lack of charges, decent interest on the Business Reserve account, instant transfer of funds between accounts and no limit to the amounts that can be paid in/out that appeals to me and have made many more £000s since opeing our accounts compared to what I would have got from Lloyds, our previous main bank.0 -
I also use lloyds tsb and was told that all internet transactions will remain free even after the introductory period. It may save a move if this is what you need.0

Lloyds charge £3 per month though before any transactions take place .0

Join the Federation of small businesses, you then get free banking for life via the co-op bank. Yes it costs per year to be in the FSB but it's about a sixth of what we'd pay to the bank plus there are lots of other benefits (good rates for taking card payments, all sorts of other stuff too).0

I'd have to agree with Andy. It's far from perfect but I think that applies to ALL the banks & at least we're not paying through the nose for the 'service' - unlike what was happening when we were still with NatWest.Expect the worst & hope for the best...0
