How is it possible that it costs me a few quid to send a little package here in the UK

But I always buy things that come from CHINA.. for 99p incl. P+P?

    ive bought stuff from china like memory card readers for literally pennies , then everyone you know wants you to order one, then you find the price has gone up, some of the sellers have had little feedback when ive bought off then so i suspect they initially sell at a loss to build up feedback, also they normally go on to sell bigger more expensive items at better prices.

    Maybe they do, but somewhere along the line our postal service is doing a fair amount of work too.

    It would be interesting to know how international postage works, what the arrangements between countries is.

    With the recent post changes there are several cases where sending an item overseas is cheaper than sending it within the UK
