My wedding is ages away (in fact, not even booked yet!) and I've already thought about this - haha!
I want "Marry Me" by Train: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghZt2cILcCU Aaah, I love it so much!
Haven't thought about an exit song but really like the idea of "You're My Best Friend" by Queen for our first dance. It's not too cringey, is it? A friend had a lovely Beach Boys song as her first dance song but I've forgotten the name of it; it was really lovely as well!
"Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" by Elton John has been very popular at the weddings I've been to recently!0 -

Our local Vicar loved the idea of contemporary music to enter/exit the church and set up his CD player over the speakers.
We had 'Marry Me' as above to walk into the church, we sent our bridesmaids ahead of us [had a 'blessing' and we are 40+yrs old so we walked in hand-in-hand] - sorry to have nicked it previously but you have great taste!
We kept our recessional track a real secret - it was The Turtles 'Happy Together' http://youtu.be/LFyTHc9IgKU and we kinda danced down the aisle to our church-full of people clapping along to the music!0 -
We had a piano version of Florence and the Machine's You Got the Love for me to come into, then a Boyce Venue acoustic version of We Found Love, and finally Emeli Sande My Kind I'd Love (live at Hollywood version). Perfect for us!No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000

The only thing we've decided is that Delirious Love by Neil Diamond will be our first dance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDapIZPyOyc
But other than that I have absolutely no idea! OH has roundly nixed my idea of what I want to walk in to - the Beatles' version of Til There Was You - which I thought was the safe choice, so I'm not sure how he'd feel about me wanting the Smash Mouth version of I'm A Believer to walk out to or somehow getting You'll Never Walk Alone in there!
So I think I'll probably end up with something classical - I like the idea of the Prince of Denmark's March for the exit, and Autumn from The Four Seasons as the entrance, but we'll see."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0
