House previously for sale with another EA?

Hi
I've been looking at a house which has been up for sale with an EA since Jan. however when looking on house.co.uk I can see the property has been indexed since Aug 12. I take this to mean the property may have actually been up for sale since Aug but with another EA? Is there anyway I can find this out for sure? (Thinking it may help from my position when offering if house has been up for some time).
Thanks

If you know the house number and postcode you can look up "previous listed on"/property history, on the Current values part of Zoopla or by checking the date the EPC was done at https://www.epcregister.com/ may give you a clue.My views and opinions are my own and do not represent those of my employer(s) or anyone else0

They might have taken it off the market then put it back on. Agent would probably just amend the original listing.
