Sold an item on ebay,cash on collection. Item was collected today. Do I mark it as "dispatched" or leave it unmarked?(cash paid)

I always mark collections as dispatched, as it has left my house.
I don't think there's any set rule for this, but I find it easier to keep track of things by marking it as dispatchedEarly retired - 18th December 2014
