Samsung smart tv problems

We can't get channel 5 on demand and the itv player only lets us watch half a programme then goes back to the start. Now today we can't get bbc iplayer to work for the moto gp - although it works ok on the laptop. For the channel 5 player it tells you to download something but doesn't tell you where to find it. It's been such a waste of money :mad:

    How old is the TV and have you tried contacting Samsung?
    What will your verse be?

    Samsung* only supports Smart TV's for 12 months or until they launch their new ranges, whichever is sooner. If you want a reliable TV catch up service get YouView.

    * and other TV manufacturers.
    That gum you like is coming back in style.

    I have a Samsung with the same channel 5 problem as you. Have you tried to update the firmware?

    Just thinking it might still be under warranty. They should support it as long as it's still under warranty otherwise they'll get a bunch of warranty claims when simple software issues could be to blame.

    Need to call 0330 Samsung (look at a mobile keypad if your house phone doesn't have letters on the numbers). They're closed on Sundays though.

    Are you using the tuner in the tv or through a separate box?

    Do you use the freeview box to watch on demand tv or use the Internet? If you use the Internet then your ISP may be at fault and you would need to contact them for advice. If you are using the separate tuner in the freeview box then it will probably be the external box which is at fault.
