TFL Oyster online system NOT processing orders but holding funds!

Options
Tried to renew my monthly pass, got a red error screen saying no, so I tried again and it said the same thing.

Checked online account and saw balance was way lower. Called the bank who said the 1st transaction went through and is 'pending'.

Called oyster who said they're aware of the problem as they've had several of the same calls today but claim they cant do anything about the money side of things as they don't have it.

Apparently you just have to 'wait until it drops off, sorry'.

ENRAGED!!!

It's just an authorisation hold by your bank. It will disappear in a few days. You could ask TFL to speak to their merchant bank and then to your bank. But by the time the various parties have liased; the hold will have gone anyway.
