I am FED UP of dandelions. I've tried everything on the market, but they keep coming back.

I let them win, they're the only flower that seems to thrive in my garden, the slugs don't eat them, they're yellow and pretty and I think the bumble bees like them ;-)Many thanks to everyone who posts competitions and works so hard to provide all the answers!
Best wins this year so far: £100 Hobbycraft Voucher, £50 cash, GoPro Camera0 -
We love em. Even sow more seeds. They're free food for Ruby our 10 year old tortoise0

Dig up the roots, scrub 'em, roast 'em, blitz 'em and make yourself a lovely cuppa decaf!0

i love dandies at this time of year - only tiime i can collect enough flower heads for wine making
lots of insects (including bees) love them - so i live with them - they are not the worst weed in the (my) garden afterall :cool:saving money by growing my own - much of which gets drunk

Dandelions drive me mad as if I let them seed on the lawn they soon take over. I now use a weed removing tool that looks like a screwdriver to dig them out as soon as they appear - you need to dig really deep to get the tap root out - it will take some time to begin with but as long as you get them early enough they will soon die out:j0

Pulled off all the flowers yesterday to stop them pollinating (temporary measure to prevent MORE). But neighbour has loads of flowering ones on their lawn which is bound to come into my garden. I feel like going and cutting theirs!!!
Funny how dandelions thrive in my garden, but my vegetables seem to stay the same size. Sods law0
