Gas and Elec changeover

Hi folks Desperate to try to save cash and just changed my gas and elec with money saving expert tool. Old company owe me cash - can you please advise how I get that back? Also how does the £30 cashback I will get happen? All new to this so very sorry if sounds simple to you all. Thanks in anticipation.

After your switch date and readings are submitted you will receive a final bill-you won't know if you are in credit or not until that point. If you are in credit then you will either be paid the due amount by cheque or by DD to your account.
Cashback will either be credited by the supplier or paid by the cashback company (depends how you signed up), normally not until about 90 days after you go on supply.

You don't need to contact them - your new supplier will arrange the switch.

You will probably be contacted by your existing supplier with a 'sorry you are leaving us' letter
