That is something I tried - the scanner is a Cannon 4200F which is getting on a bit now - when I put the disc in it says not compatable with this operating systen (Windows 7)

Try using a 3rd party scanner application...

I had the same problem and then discovered that there was a solution... after I'd got rid of the scanner. :(

Thank you, I downloaded and scanned the slide - when I clicked on the scanned image it got slightly bigger but not much -I remember when this scanner was connected to the other computer the image was much larger and you could edit it and rotate & reverse it - how can I do this.
Also right across the image it says 'Buy Vue Scan'

You could just download the driver from the canon website for windows 7

Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j
  • Goodle picasa is great to finish the images should you want to recrop, rotate and edit etc without losing image quality. and its free

    Quick and easy

My guess, though it doesn't mention it on their web site, is that this is a limitation of the free trial version. Maybe the resolution is limited in that too, which is why you can't enlarge it.
