Squirrels in the roof!

Hi All.
Squirrels seem to be getting into next door's roof space via a gap in their wall, and there is some evidence of them coming into our space via theirs. I cannot see exactly where the gap is, but there must be one, because they've been nibbling, and seem to have fiddled with our insulation.
Any ideas on where we stand on this?
Thanks for any help.
Tim

Don't know where you stand but I would be getting it sorted ASAP.
They will be doing loads of damage & if they start nibbling electric cables you could end up with a rather dangerous situation.

Hi, Is it possible to use something like expanding foam to seal potential entry points, I love squirrels myself but they could do a lot of damage there.
Other ideas http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=squirrel+deterrent&!!!!!googhydr-21&index=aps&hvadid=12155572933&hvpos=1t2&hvexid=630613&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7253903761735586111&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&ref=pd_sl_4hkorrjqnb_e

Your have fun getting them out.I had 2 of them once and when I went into the loft space to scare them out they just starred at me as I could not reach them as their nest was made in the corner in the soffit using insulation they had chewed up.They had got in via a small hole in the tile verge.
In the end I took a tile off the corner and lifted the felt and really scared them with a long stick which took several attempts and they actually left via the open hole.
As soon as I started to fill the gap they were trying to get back in again0 -
We use .22 gauge shotgun shells for this.
Sorry, it's sensitive area but your pest control guy would do the same.
Unfortunately grey squirrels are tree rats, you don't want them.
If they are reds then you are very privileged
:o:o:o
You have no comeback against your neighbours, other than to remain good neighbours and act together on the issue,I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

No, they are known as dust shot, kill rats and mice at very close range, nothing more, don't believe the movies

I use giant mousetraps. They are very effective and no licence or marksmanship skills are required.0

You have to kill them by law if they get trapped in there as you can't release them, and by law it must be a quick pain free death.
I have a trap in my shed but the squirrel moved out when I removed his bedding. Two years before that I found one dead in a plastic bag full of fleece. It's about time for another one to move in.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
