Car Insurance Claim Date?

Hi there,

I am applying for a new car insurance policy. Question: the 3 years since a claim, accident or loss? The accident took place over 3 years ago (precisely 3 years, 1 month). The claim was not settled until the following year, so falls within the period.

Should I declare it?

They are asking for the incident date and not settlement date, if the question asks for three years, you don't need to declare it.
