Pub or good B& B accomodation near Alnwick in N/E

Can anyone recommend a really good B&B or great Pub north east of Alnwick in Northumberland for a couple of nights in August please ? (or elsewhere reasonably nearby if 'too good not to stay')

    Hello Omega_1

Beadnell is north east of Alnwick and has a lovely sandy beach. I've stayed at Beach Court and can recommend it. It's situated right next to the beach and alongside a small harbour.

If you click on the link and look at 'About Beadnell'................you'll see Beach Court in the foreground of the picture.

    Enjoy your Northumberland trip.

    Regards

Am joining relatives who are based in a cottage in Eglingham which unfortunately is a fair drive away from Rothbury (especially at night and after an evening out !) I guess we will have to be looking at somewhere in Alnwick. Thanks anyway.

I can confirm that the oaks hotel is a very good place to stay, we stayed there once and we were more than satisfied.
