Whilst waiting for my prescription (15 minutes for a basic antibiotic!) I bought three bb creams in fair. I am currently very "yellow" or "light olive" as I haven't been in the sun for ages. Therefore it suits me. My friend is a very fair "white" skin and it is far too orange for her!

However, i had to let it sink in for a while, so don't be too disheartened when you first apply it.

£11.42 was a bargain but it took off 10% for being in the contact lense scheme, so under £11 seemed a good price!

Thank you for that. I am ghostly pale with a yellowy undertone so it wouldn't work on me. You've saved me a trip to Boots. I usually use Bobbi Brown BB in very light which would likely work for your friend.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Very helpful S.A. on No. 7 Counter.
She was happy to through my £5 Skincare and £3 Cosmetic Vouchers at the same time so I ended up with a No. 7 BB Cream (£12.95) plus a No. 7 Lipstick, original price £10.75 but she put it through as a Buy 1 Get 1 half price, so the lipstick price became £5.37. With deduction of £5 and £3 Vouchers, my bill ended up at £10.32 so was less than the original price of the lipstick and a free BB Cream.
To be fair, she was lovely but I did engage in a bit of chat and found out that she came from a place I had visited, find being super friendly always helps.
Decided not to buy 3 x BB Creams which I had never used, as it is so easy to get carried away on these special offers and then end up with stuff which may or may not suit you.

Forgot to add, I bought some No. 7 make up also at buy 1, get 1 half price and got yet more vouchers. At this point, I thought "don't get greedy" so gave one to a lady queuing up, and the other to some schoolgirls at the bus stop. They were mega pleased.
It's good to "pass it on!":)

Has anyone actually tried it using tinted moisturiser?
  • Do you think it would work with the lift and luminate foundation. Seems to come under skincare online?

I got three bronzers and a powder compact for £15. I originally took up 2 bronzers and the powder and the SA told me to go back for another bronzer. So I got 3 for 2 on the bronzers and buy 1 get 1 half price on the powder. The bogohp actually came off twice so the powder was free too.

    £11.50 + £11.50 + 0 (bronzer) + 0 (powder) - £3 and £5 voucher

Now I'd better donate some bronzer to my sister. Don't think I need three!

This would have worked the same way as the bb cream glitch so one free and another half price. Which bronzers were they. Were they the moziac ones or the ones with two colours?

That was the dual bronzer. I see what you mean, one bronzer was half price and the powder was half price.

So if the bronzer is on 3 for 2.....you could get 6 for £17.25

assuming they let you use the £5 and £3.

I really hope i get time to try it later! Will post results if i do!

I wonder if you could use more than one £5 and £3 on self scan???
  • Just wanted to explain my thinking.....

    1 bronzer 11.50
    2 bronzer 5.75 half price
    3 bronzer free
    4 bronzer 5.75 half price
    5 bronzer 5.75 half price
    6 bronzer free

every 2nd will be half price
    every 3rd free

    minus £5 and £3

Sorry if I'm wrong, I hope I've explained it well enough. I'm sure the boots glitchers will help explain better than me.
Just sorry I can't get to try it out yet!
