Would it work if you buy 3 bronzers? I use the bronzer so this would be great.don't need another 3 BB creams lol

I'd be really interested to see if this works too.

    First purchase today:
    BB Cream £12.95
    Lip crayon £9.00

I used one voucher from the self-checkout and it looks like it took off both the £5 and the £3. Then I used one £5 and one £3. Total paid: £1.45

    Second purchase today:
    BB Cream £12.95
    Essential Moisture £9.00
    Essential Moisture £9.00

I used a self-checkout voucher and one £5 and one £3. Total paid: £6.90. The woman at the till was very surprised (but nice about it)!

interesting - so you got both a self service till spit no7 voucher and the £5 and £3 no7 vouchers to work in one transaction? all with happy beeps (ie the cashier didn't have to override it?).

Yes! Boots glitch still works today :) Thanks to those who confirmed.
Ladies, no need to spend time trying to work out what will work and what won't, just head on down there and try it out before they fix the glitch :j

In my quiet Boots store the Buy1Get1HalfPrice wasn't advertised on the No7 make-up section AT ALL, but I asked at the till how much 2 items would be beforehand, the B1G1HP was scanning correctly.

It appears to me that this glitch will work on a lot of items, the majority of No7 make-up seems to be Buy1Get1HalfPrice, and then 3 for 2 is also going on for all their skincare products.

I bought 2x No7 Triple protection tinted moisturiser(£11.50), and 1x No7 Essential Moisture face cream(£9.95) and paid only £9.25 total so seems like there might not be any need to limit yourself to the BB creams or bronzers.

Thanks to the OP for stumbling across this and letting the rest of us know :)

Yes - I don't know how that happened but I was pleased when the final price came up. The only thing the cashier needed to do was help me stuff the vouchers into the slot as there were tons of other ones crowding it!

I managed to get the £5 and £3 to work with bronzers, BB cream and tinted moisturiser. I tried it on the primers, powders and Concealer but they didnt work but hey a nice little glitch :)
  • I went into Durham Market Place boots today and asked the cashier to check if the Matte Make Up Base was on 3 for 2. She said no BOGOHP. I asked her to check so she scanned it 3 times but it only came up as BOGOHP. Bought that £10.50 and a nail varnish for half price at £3 and also a Hair Spritz for £6.50. Was able to use both vouchers in the same transaction so paid a total of £12.
Got another voucher so bought another hair spritz £1.50 after using £5 voucher and two nail varnish on BOGOHP £6 + £3 less £3 voucher. Total spend £7.50 and given yet another voucher. Did the same again and yet another voucher. Came away then as I was running out of time.
I'd been in the day before and tried to buy 3 hair spritz (3 for 2) but assistant wouldn't let me use 2 x £5 vouchers on that transaction so I put them one back and just got 2 for a total of £3 instead of paying £8 for 3.
You might think I now have a lot of items, probably sell them on ebay or car boot sale. Even if I sell them at half Boots' price I'll still make a profit!
  • Thank you so much Koala it worked for me today in Falkirk High St. Store. :-)
  • Sorry to disappoint you all, but it's NOT a glitch! Boots have never said that you can't spend both halves of a double voupon at the same time! Spend £5 and get the voupon, £5 off skincare and £3 off cosmetics. Skincare is currently 3for2, and cosmetics are BOGSHP. Buy into both deals and use both voupons, saving an extra £8 and gain Ad card points.. AND receive another £8 voupon! Easy!
And we have stopped giving Ad card points on mobile top ups, but you still get voupons and vouchers. Hopefully that should clear it up for you all....

The main 'glitch' is that when you buy only three products it gives you both discounts, 3 for 2 AND buy one get one half price. The fact that you can then use BOTH vouchers is just an added bonus.
