    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
Went over to Kennedy Centre this evening after work and they don't stock BB Creams - the only glitchy item I could see was tinted moisturiser. I asked about the BB creams and the staff said I would need a larger store like the big one in town.

pattylabelle, can you remember if Yorkgate do the BB creams as I want 2 of these and a bronzer?

If they don't then I will have one final try in Donegall Place at SS tills first thing tomorrow. I'll put other items in my basket and will try to persuade a colleague to go with me so they can distract the SA if I need them to.

    Thanks again. :)

No I am afraid they don't stock it at Yorkgate - didn't realise you were after that specifiacally. Yes you will have to o to Donegal Place but the good thing there is as follows - you do not have to go to the NO 7 counter thing to get the BB creams. There is an area where they are stocked with things like Nivea and Garnier - ground floor on the opposite side of aisle to select yourself makeup. Think you may have to go to main stand for the bronzer though.

  • Hi all - I've been following this thread for several days now and still haven't managed to work out what I am going to do when I take my trip to Boots this afternoon!! :rotfl:I only have 2 of the £5 skincare and £3 makeup (attached to each other) vouchers which were given to me last time instore - I don't have any till spits and at the moment no ACM vouchers (though I will check when I go if there are any!)

I would really like 1 x BB cream, 1 x tinted moisturiser and 2 nail polish - but would this maximise my vouchers and get me the best deal and how much would I pay?

I just can't work out from the threads what the actual glitch is and how to use it to get what I would use! Help, please!! :)

The glitch is that there are certain products that are classified as skincare and make up at the same time so the voucher that you have that gives £5 of skincare and £3 off makeup work on that product together giving £8 off. So you could use the one set of vouchers to get the bb cream for £11.95 -£8=£3.95 or off the tinted moisturiser for £3.50 I think. At the moment they also have 3 for 2 off skincare and Buy one get one half price off makeup which the glitch makes even more attractive as if you were to buy 3 items the till thinks are skincare and make up as well you would get both offers so 3 bb creams or 3 tinted moisturisers or a combination of the two would be £11.42 or less. Your best bet would be to buy 3 of the glitchy skincare items with the first voucher and then use the make up portion for the nailpolish. If you get a £2 off mascara or lipstick out of the ACM you could buy either of those two and the nailpolish and so get £3, £2 and buy one get one half price.
The other glitchy items are bronzing pearls, brownzing powder the moziac one and the dual one. hth Have you only got one voucher with two halves or two vouchers ?

Finally I can report success. :j:j

Was in store before 9.30. Lifted a basket and got some shampoo and conditioner (Tresemme @ 4.99 each - BOGOF) and a few men's bodywashes for my kids (Ted Baker and FCUK @ £4 each on 3 for 2) then added the No 7 products and back to the self service checkout.

There was a young, friendly SA there who asked if I needed a carrier bag and I said no thank you I have one. I scanned everything and added a magazine then put the coupons through. I had an ACM coupon for 10% off shampoo/conditioner when you buy 2 and I scanned it first then £5 and £3 glossy and SS till spit. At one stage the machine said coupon not valid and I thought they'd changed the till but I carried on.

I remembered then that I wanted to scan the 200 pts for £20 No 7 from the magazine and picked it up to tear it out at which point the machine objected to me removing something from the bagging area. SA came over and I explained what I'd done and she said - Good for you and left me to it. My hands were actually shaking at that point.

So I got the 3 for 2 and BOGOHP on the No 7 and both sets of £5 and £3 off and the 200 extra points - the coupon that wasn't accepted was the 10% off shampoos. :)

Paid £16.55 for 2 BB Creams, 1 bronzing pearls, Tresemme shampoo and conditioner, 2 Ted Baker bodywashes and 1 FCUK bodywash. Saving - £42.42 including £1 for Hlth & Beauty Mag. :T

Thanks once again to everyone who contributed to this thread and gave helpful advice. Special thanks to balletshoes, Koala (and pattylabelle for the local information). :A

I wonder how the Tresemme and FCUK worked out that cheap then? Have I missed something further back? Off to look back again.

its because anemone had £16 worth of No7 vouchers (ie 2 parts of the glossy plus a ss tillspit) so her No7 items ended up being around £3.42 after all the discounts etc :).

:j Thank you so much - by Jove, I think I've got it!!

    I have 2 x £5 skin and 2 x £3 makeup vouchers.

Just to be sure - what I plan to buy now is 1 tinted moisturiser, 1 bb cream and 1 mosaic bronzer and use a £5 skin and £3 makeup coupon - this should come out around £11 ish. Then I can use the remaining £3 makeup voucher to get a nail polish for £3 or two for £6 (getting BOGOHP). But that will still leave me with another £5 skin voucher unused - I guess I could get some wipes and then use that?.....

And all of this has to be done through the self scan checkouts or otherwise the till assistants may not accept the vouchers, is that right?

I'm a wuss when it comes to glitches and being brazen but I do so love a bargain so I'm going to give it a go!! :D

They are giving out random vouchers at the tills today . I got 100 points on no 7 nailpolish and in a another transaction 75 points on lipstick and mascara so probably best to do bb cream one first to see if you can get an extra points voucher off the nailpolish. There is 3 for 2 against a lot of the other ranges today which includes the no 7 but haven't had time to work it out. Have a great shop If you are collecting points the 200 points against a no 7 spend in the magazine works on the 3 items as well so get the free mag first and get snipping. If you are using the self serve tills split the £5 and £3 bit and scan them seperately otherwise you will only get the one discount
