We got an HD box installed and now the magic eye isn't working in the other room. We forgot to ask the engineer to look at this tv ( not that he might have done so anyway )
Any ideas on what to do to get it working?
Freeview is working fine, just no sky

the main set top box which has the magic eye connected, you need to go into the settings (services 4, then press 01 select quickly to enter installer menu) and select rf output option 4 and make sure output power supply is switched on, other than that make sure all connections are secure etc etc

Right now the light is on the eye, but no sky channels showing, still only freeviewtravelover0

It sounds like you need to tune the second tv in. If it's showing freeview channels then it's set to its digital tuner. You need to select the analogue tuner, do a search and then store that channel. (Just like the old days!)0

When I go on analogue it is not picking any channels up?travelover0

The analogue channels have now been switched off so you shouldn't find any, however because the sky is plugged into the aerial socket it wil appear to the tv as an analogue channel. Have you gone into the tv setup to scan for channels before storing it at eg channel no 1? Make sure the sky box is turned on first.
If scanning doesn't find the picture from the sky box, it is likely that there is a further problem with the connections as mentioned above, although that would normally cause the red light to be off.0 -
The red light is still on but I just can't seem to pick up sky. I have tried analogue automatic setup and manual set up but nothing. It goes from channel 21-68.
It is a Panasonic viera the second tv, first one sony braviatravelover0 -
To get to the installers menu on a HD box is slightly different. You need to press services - o - o1 - select0
