Hi
I have bought a car charger from ebay for a nokia lumia 820 phone. the charger is not a nokia product (one of the cheapy ones) and im just wondering if its ok to use or can it damage the battery?
The phone has a 1650 MAH 3.7v battery. The wall charger the phone came with has the following spec - output Dc 5v, 1.3A.
The car charger that i bought (even though it says its compatible with 820 lumia amongst other phones on the ebay advert) doesnt have any spec on it. the only info i can give is that it has a 2A fuse inside it!
going by this info, is it possible to determine if this charger is ok or will too less or too powerfull a charger damage the battery?
Thanks

I wouldn't trust any charger that didn't have input / output specs written on it.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0
