Loose/missing tiles on roof

Hi, Last week we exchanged contracts on our new house and complete this Wednesday. We have just noticed that there are a few tiles missing or loose on the roof. Are we too late to expect the present homeowner to rectify this? If so, any idea what cost would be involved as its a 3 story property.

Thanks for advice in advance :) x

You've exchanged, so it's too late to quibble or negotiate now.

Go to roofing merchant and buy half a dozen tiles to match. £0.75 each?

Find an odd job man with a long ladder. Pay him £20 - £40 for half an hour's work.

    sorted.

The only have to have over the house in the condition it was in at exchange. That's why it's important to check everything out thoroughly and ask them to fix things as as a condition of the sale (they can obviously still say no).

I wonder what the Surveyor had to say about the condition of the roof?
