No problem at all having two cards - this could help should one issuer have an outage, as RBS/NatWest did last year.
From a credit rating point of view, won't be an issue at all as long as they're managed well, many people have lots more than two (I have eight, for example - for use abroad, interest free purchases, clubcard points, cashback or whatever other benefit is offered at the time!).
Why should you ignore my post?? I DON'T want a credit card is there something wrong with that 'HAIL HAIL' :dance:0 -

.....but what value was there in your post?!?!?I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -

The OP asked:Currently have 2 credit cards ... I'd feel happier having one card, but not if it's going to hurt me in the long run.
and you repliedOne debit card i have never had credit card and i never will.
How is that in any shape or form going to help the OP? He doesn't care whether you want a credit card or not, they didn't ask that.
You seemed to have answered a question that was not asked.0 -
