HSBC Forced a Managed Loan

Hi All,
Took out a personal loan with HSBC 11 years ago which (when i ran into trouble) was forceably turned into a 'Managed Loan'. As a result (though i dont have the totals yet) i will have paid a ridiculous amount of interest and i dont feel their handling of this account was fair, i feel that they forced me into a situation that would ultimately cost me more to benefit themselves.
Can anything be done about this?
