Sainsbury's e-Saver rates drop

More joy from the banks. A letter received this morning advises that Sainsbury's Bank is dropping its e-Saver rate on sums from £1,000-100,000 from 2.4% to 1.7%.

Just thought I'd share the good news.

    They are all at it. Nationwide e-saver has just reduced too....

    Yes, clearly they don't need to pay to borrow our money, now the government is taking it from us as taxation then lending it to the banks for next to nothing.

    It's the "e Savings Plus" account that's being reduced to 1.7% on June 1st.

    Their "e Savings" account remains (for the moment) at a fantastic rate of 0.45% ;)
