Guidance on Life, critical illness & employment insurance for mortgage

We're in the process of sorting a mortgage and need to look at the appropriate insurances. Broker has suggested Scottish Provident for around £22 a month for all three. However, partner has 2 jobs and the insurance only covers one.
Firstly as he has 2 jobs if he loses one of them will the other job invalidate the claim? I don't see the point in paying the premium if there is no chance we'd get a payout cos of the other job. Of course the other query on the same line is what if he quit the other job if he lost the first job? I assume that this would also invalidate the claim?
Secondly is this a good price...or can I do better on my own?
Thanks.

on the form mention the other job there is a space for aditional information, where it asks about the job put the riskier of the 2 ie if your partner is also a part time firemena put that as the main job as it could affect underwriting
what insurance is it, the only thing i can think of that it may not pay out is if its income protection or unemployment cover and the 2nd job hasnt been declared0 -
On the information the broker sent us only one job is mentioned. There is no mention of the second job.
The jobs aren't risky in any way shape or form. Just don't know how to insure employment when there are 2 jobs involved. Is it even worth my time?Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
