Card Protection Insurance

Hi,
I have had Card protection insurance with CPP for about 5 years now and I have just recieved my renew pack for the coming year I was just wondering if I actually need this or if I would be covered else where for all my cards ?
If I do need it is there anywhere I can get other quotes from so I can comapre prices ?
I have also noticed that some people have made a claim against CPP for mis selling how do I go about doing this ?
I look forward to any advice you maybe able to offer.

What does it protect you from above and beyond what the bank or CC company already offer?
How do you go about claiming for mis-selling? Why do you think you were mis-sold?
