    Hi

    I know parents who would pack small sweets in between the layers of clothes and in the toiletry bag etc to be able to tell if the child ever got to that bit. The sweets often came back untouched :)


    Please, please don't do this, the kids might not find them, but ants, other creepy crawlies, mice, squirrels etc will....and they will make one heck of a mess. We once had to ditch a tent which got nibbled by creatures after the huge stash of chocolate etc which one child "forgot" to hand in. Not to mention that the other kids werent impressed to find mouse pee and poop all over their sleeping bags :eek:
