New Laptop Battery

I am wanting to replace the battery in a Compaq Presarion A900 and when I looked on ebay there seemed to be several different options. I am not sure what one I should buy. Laptop is used mainly for holidays and will be plugged in most of the time. Would rather not spend too much money as it is not a new machine. Prefer to buy from the UK as had problems with a piece of electrical equipment that came from abroad but any suggestions of retailers would be welcomed.
