My dad and brother are builders and both have totally different phones. My dad has the Samsung C3350, a very hard-wearing phone, dust proof, water proof, it can be submerged in 1m water for 30 minutes and be fine, no that hes tested it out! lol. My brother on the other hand has a HTC smartphone, not quite sure which one but it has Dr. Dre Beats audio. He keeps good care of it though and is very careful with it on the site.0

It's more for heavy data input use though, not as a phone, but usable as a phone as well.0

That looks like a laptop. No use as a phone, too bulky to carry around.
I'm more thinking along the lines of the Galaxy Note 2, that sort of thing.0 -
My friend has an iPhone 5, but has it in an otterbox defender case to protect it whilst working. Seems to have held up extremely well.0

Motorola Defy +, check out Hotukdeals, Three have them on offer and SIM free.
I have a Iphone 4S in an Otterbox case for work makes the phone very bulky and the rubber surround is forever undoing itself, nice idea just needs more though by the manufacturer.
Three appear to be OOS online so either instore or there is the Defy Mini in Tesco if you can find one (phone not Tesco's!).0 -
Not much help on the device but can highly recommend the otter box and griffin cases. My dad is a builder on has one on his iPhoneHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0
