I booked a holiday with my credit card about 5 years ago for £4500 it was to the Maldives at Christmas in june that year I had a heart attack it took some time to recover then I was taken into hospital Dec 4th and was told I would need a bypass had to cancel the holiday but was told by ccc that I could not claim due to the fact that I did not inform them that I had an heart attack, we managed to get back £1500 from the travel company, have I left it too late. I still have a cc with them

IMO, it was a typical travel insurance case, nothing to do with S75 protection that covers only company's failure to supply quality goods or services.0

As above, no breach of contract so no claim.0

Even if it was within timescales for a chargeback. Certainly no S75 claim either.
There is no case. The holiday was avaiable.
Your only option is travel ins, If you had any.
But given its now 5 years later.... I doub't that you would get anywhere.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -

This seems a strange thing for the CC to have said. OP, are you saying you had some kind of insurance with the CC or some other basis for making a claim?0
