I heard Martin on TV saying that you get no thanks for loyalty.
I was with Royal & Sun Alliance (changed name to More than) since 1970, that's 43 years. Because we go away for over 60 days a year now, my £500 payment increased by over £600.
I asked More Than if anything could be done as our neighbour enters the property daily, does the mail etc, I was refused any leniency.
So I thought Saga will know a lot of people who go away like us, try them.
After speaking to Saga, with a quote of just over £700 in total AND all aspects of the More Than (Royal & Sun Alliance)policy covered and in many points better, I phoned More Than again, told them all my findings, told them I was a loyal customer for 43 years, didn't really want to move, I got a refusal again.
So I took out the Saga policy, saving nearly £600 a year.....and the punchline is.....it is with Royal and Sun Alliance!!!
